Air Source Heat Pumps
Air Source Heat Pumps
The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (Domestic RHI) is a government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heating. Switching to heating systems that use eligible energy sources can help the UK reduce its carbon emissions and meet its renewable energy targets.
People who join the scheme and keep to its rules receive quarterly payments for seven years for the amount of renewable heat it’s estimated their system produces.
By installing an Air Source Heat Pump, you will be paid for the extra heat you produce. At the same time, you will be saving money on your heating bills due to not using as much (or any) Gas, Oil or LPG for heating your home with.
By heating your home with renewable heating systems, you will be reducing your C02 output which will help reduce the effect of climate change brought about by burning fossil fuels. There is a better way to heat your home which is Air Source Heating, saving you money and doing your bit for the environment.
We are fully MCS approved, which ensures every installation we do will make your home more energy efficient and save you money on heating bills. Having a heat pump installed will reduce your heating bills over time. We will provide an estimate with our quotation with regards to annual running costs.
Nearly all properties can benefit from air source heating and the acceptance requirements are minimal.
To qualify for Domestic RHI you first need meet these requirements:
You also have to have one of four eligible renewable technologies, one of which is air source heat pumps. Before we install a heat pump an EPC survey and heating assessment will need to be carried out to ensure that your property can apply for funding.
